These are reproduction pins of the infamous Heaven's Gate "Away Team" patch that was known to be worn buy members of the cult.

Heaven's Gate was a cult that was founded in 1974 and commited mass suicide in 1997. The suicides occurred in groups of fifteen, fifteen, and nine, between approximately March 22 and March 26, 1997.
